Due to Chinese New Year, it is still a public holiday=) But instead of the normal lessons on the Lectures and Practicals, we need to discuss on a topic as a group on http://eir-rawkz.wetpaint.com/. Our group EIRGROUP2'09 consists of Chang Pei Yu, Nur Suhailah, Toh Wei Hon and me myself. The topic we need to discuss on is Internet Advertising, Promotion and Soliciting. As we are unable to meet up for discussion, we discuss it on MSN. So for Internet Advertising, we discuss on how the banner ads and email spamming that will affect the user when they are using the web. And also what are the problems faced by the users when using the web. Further more, we took MSN as a example, as most people are actually using it. We shared our own experiences and we agreed with each other on the problems identify. Continued on, we discuss briefly what internet promotion is and soliciting based on our knowledge. As we are the second group to post on the Wiki Forum, there isn't any much discussion going on yet.
But using this Wiki, it definitely engaged us in discussion and keeps us active... The Wiki will be quite useful to my projects on the contribution part of personal opinions, lifestyles and consumer behaviours. An active wiki with several threads and replies will enable to keep the discussion ongoing. Hope to view some replies from the other groups soon=)
